What does LCL shipping mean?
It is a type of shipping service from port to port, designed for customers who do not have enough cargo to fill a full container. This service allows your shipment to be consolidated with other shipments in the same container, and the cost is calculated based on the volume or space occupied by your cargo. A separate Bill of Lading is issued for each customer to ensure shipment privacy and clarity.
What does partial shipping mean?
It is a door-to-door shipping service that allows your shipment to be consolidated with other shipments. The cost is calculated based on the volume or space occupied by your cargo. This service covers all modes of transportation, including air, sea, and land freight.
How can you benefit from the cargo storage and consolidation service?
An account is first opened with Kayan Company, after which you provide us with the names of your suppliers, their contact details, and the products to be consolidated and stored. We then arrange schedules to receive the products from suppliers and store them securely. Finally, all products are shipped to the customer in one single shipment.
How are products shipped to Amazon FBA warehouses?
We receive and store the products intended for shipment, then prepare the shipment according to Amazon’s requirements and standards, including applying the customer's FNSKU labels. After that, the appropriate shipping method is determined, whether by sea or air, and the shipment is delivered directly to Amazon warehouses.
How is the total weight and shipping cost determined (actual or volumetric weight)? Calculation method:
First, the actual weight of the shipment is calculated in kilograms.
Second, the volumetric weight is calculated using the following formula:
Length × Width × Height (in cm) ÷ 5000
After that, the higher value between the actual weight and the volumetric weight is adopted, and it is multiplied by the shipping rate per kilogram to determine the final cost.
